Think Host

Basically, ThinkHost is an organization that provides unlimited web hosting for relatively cheap prices. However, that's not what I'm reviewing right now. What interested me about ThinkHost was its affiliate program. Unlike similar types, ThinkHost doesn't seem to have all the fine print and catches that annoy many potential marketers (including me). Setting up an account is free, and convincing others to set up an account as well earns you $100! That's INCREDIBLE! Please, please sign up an account, to help me AND you. You know I'm not scamming you simply because if I make money, then I'm telling the truth about the product! Anyways, if you decide to sign up (there should be a link to your right), for the "parent ID" on the login form, put nostreffej. Then, start bloggin yourself, and make some money!

Iron Gym Review

Iron Gym is a pull-up bar that you can hang from your door-frame with virtually no damage to the door. It has the three normal settings of a gym pull up bar, and can also be used for push ups, dips, and curl-ups. Most of my reviews on this site are relatively long, but all that I can really say about the Iron Gym is that it, well, works! Within about two weeks I began seeing major results (even though I haven't quite reached the level of the guy on the commercial). Although their is an exercise plan that comes with it, I usually just do pull-ups every time I pass the door, and about fifteen before I go to bed. You have to take it down in order to close the door, but that is simple, and even simpler to put back up when you need it! In fact, the only bad thing about the Iron Gym is that, well, pull-ups are hard. But then, what's the point of showing off if everyone can do it?

LG Voyager Review

The LG Voyager is a touch-screen/full keyboard phone from Verizon Wireless. It looks a lot like the Envy 2, with the only main differences being that it's bigger and has a touch screen on the front. Overall, it's a very good phone: the touchscreen works fine, the full keyboard is great, and it works relatively fast as well, which is a great change from the flip phone I used to have. It also has the capabilities for VZ Navigator, V-Cast, and many more applications like them. And, if you're running out of memory, you can add extra memory cards to it! Unfortunately, it also has a few disadvantages. First of all, it's big. While it isn't heavy and not at all ugly, If you have small pockets, I would recommend something else. Also, the music player on it is scratchy, nothing like listening to an iPod or MP3 player. Finally, if you love gaming on your phone, then you will be disappointed. The layout of the full keyboard makes it very difficult to use the buttons, and the games lag on the phone, which make it very difficult to play a fast-paced game of, say, Guitar Hero or Tetrus. All in all, however, it is a fantastic phone, and I would recommend it a to anyone, especially if you love to text.

Disaster Movie Review

I ignored my friends warnings. Last night, I decided to try watching Disaster Movie on demand. I mean, come on. It couldn't be that bad, could it?
I was wrong.
There is literally no way that a movie could possibly be worse than it. Except for one funny part involving an AT&T "dropped call" commercial, the movie was completely aweful. Unlike Epic Movie, which at least had a plotline, Disaster movie had nothing. And, to make things worse, all of the random things that happened throughout the film took at least 6 minutes to finish. AND THEY WEREN'T EVEN FUNNY! Basically, the only reason I watched the movie until the end was because I spent $4.95 on it. Afterwords, I decided that it was like renting an electric chair: wasting the money is punishment enough; using it won't make you feel any better.

Verizon Wireless Review

I don't know about where you live, but at my highschool, almost everybody has Verizon. And, because Verizon-to-Verizon calling is free, either you have Verizon, or no one talks to you; in fact, a lot of people won't even put your number into their contacts unless you are Verizon! If you're a non-verizon and you don't have txting, you might communicate with a classmate once or twice a year outside of school. Basically, to have friends, you have to have Verizon. Now, that doesn't mean that Verizon is the absolute best phone company there is. Although the coverage is great, the service is sadly lacking. For example, when I went to get my new phone, the LG Voyager, activated, the customer service representative seemed to be incredibly helpful. He even hooked me up with free 30-day trials of V-Cast and VZ Navigator! Unfortunately, they weren't both free. When we got the bill the next month, it turned out that Navigator actually cost us $8.94, and the V-Cast didn't actually last for 30 days (which was unfortunate, b/c I had used it for that long). We were eventually able to get a credit for the VZ Navigator, but I really would have preferred not to have had to go through all of that, especially sinced I never even used the Navigator.

This blog

In this blog, I will review and rate various products such as backpacks, laptops, ipods, and cellphones. I hope you find my point of view both insightful and helpful in understanding how we highschoolers view things.
